Annabelle and Marcelle Beauty Premiere

Last week I attended the Annabelle and Marcelle Beauty Premiere in Toronto, where Marcelle Group showcased their new products to be launched in late January/ early February 2012; it was a great evening and I got to see many familiar faces and many not so familiar faces, if you want to know who I hung out with click here.

The location was great! the rooftop of Thompson Hotel in downtown Toronto, so as I walked into the room, and checked in, I got my personalized badge and then started to mingle, in the first part of the room I saw only Annabelle products. The Glitterama glitter eyeliner in shades that I haven't seen before (I'm digging the red, lavender and teal shades) and the Smudge Paints where there too, of course I couldn't avoid playing with them ;)

The new addition to the line is the Annabelle BIGSHOW lipgloss which comes in a round glass tube, very elegant I have to say, and the new formula makes this babies super super shiny!! they kind of reminded me of the MAC Dazzleglasses without the heavy super sticky feeling, but I still haven't tried them so I can't tell for sure.

There was an area where you could get your own personalized BIGSHOW lipgloss, so you would choose the shades you wanted to mix in and then ta-daaa your custom shade lipgloss, I think that was such a cool idea! everyone was talking about it all night! Way to win our hearts Annabelle!!

While we were hanging out and sipping in our drinks I see this big part of the crowd approach this one girl in the middle of the room, I was curious enough to go take a look and what did I find? A tray of makeup for us to help ourselves!! Yeah you read it right! there were girls walking around with trays of makeup it was just too much fun! 

The next product I saw was this new gel makeup remover from Marcelle called RENFORCILS with eyelash fortifying complex which, I was told, works in both the follicle and the lash. I'm very excited to try it when it comes out!

Marcelle is also coming out with a new skincare line called GENE YOUTH, it consists of a day cream, night cream and eye contour cream that help prevent the signs of aging, I tried all 3 creams on my hand and oh my! what a lovely feeling, I fell in love with how velvety the eye contour cream feels! (I believe the creams are going to retail for about $22 CAD each)

The Marcelle Xtension Plus Mascara was another one of the new products from the line, which I got in my goody bag and can't wait to try, this is a lengthening mascara with a small plastic brush, I kind of like small brushes because it is way easier to reach the corners without smudging, but that's just me :P

And finally the star of the night, the new Marcelle BB cream, so I heard that some members of Marcelle Group, went to asia to learn about this new kind of creams that are the new big hit in the beauty industry and are slowly coming to this side of the globe.  The Marcelle BB cream can be used as a daily moisturizer, helps even out the skin tone and cover some imperfections, it can replace your moisturizer, primer, tinted moisturizer and even foundation; it will come in 2 shades: light and medium (I believe) but it also has self-shade-adjusting particles which will make sure that the cream blends perfectly into your skin. I had the chance to try it out on the back of my hand and the texture is heaven! To my surprise it also covered my veins pretty well and blendend seamlessly into my skin. (I believe this product will retail for about $28 CAD)
