As many of you might know, after reading all those tweets, this past wednesday I attended the Annabelle and Marcelle Beauty Premiere in Toronto which was basically a social event with drinks, food and lots and lots of bloggers from the GTA where Marcelle Group showcased the new products that are coming up for 2012. Since a more detailed description of the event and the products is in a different post (click here to read), I'm just gonna jump right on to things!.
I loved seeing my dearest TBB (Toronto Beauty Bloggers) friends! and of course meeting new people. Now I have to admit, I'm socially awkward and extremely shy!! so I normally walk around a room full of people, just by myself until I see a familiar face; or sometimes I just stand in a corner looking away, yeah! I know it's sad but I'm just that shy! and I was always the tomboy-ish girl who never really had girlfriends and always hung out with guys, so please!! If you ever see me out there being quiet and with a serious face on, just talk to me!! it's not that I'm mad or anything, it's just that I'm a shy gal. With that being said, I was lucky enough to see familiar faces almost as I walked into the room.
Of course, the lovely Isabelle (@Mtl_MissIPP) from Marcelle Group greeted me and I also saw @eeenricaaa, @01b0o, @rubanxrose who were waiting in line to make their custom shade Big Show lipgloss, courtesy of @AnnabelleTweets.
I had the chance to chat with a few other familiar TBB girls like @TheGlitterGeek, @FacesByFarah, @anjali_handa, @watercoloursky, @ettuandyou and @JennMUA; and of course my bff's @leloartistry and @makemeoverande.
And in the new additions to my friends list, 3 amazing girls who I follow on twitter and youtube but never had the chance to meet in person: @fionaman, @makeupbytess and @DonnaMarieMUA.
The experience was amazing! I feel like I got inspired again to open my makeup drawer and play with my stuff, write posts for the blog and even go on twitter more often again, it just made me realize how much I miss being a part of it all. In case I didn't mention it yet, the location was beautiful! the rooftop of Thompson Hotel in downtown Toronto, we had an amazing view all night I just loved it!
