Gradient nails- mani of the week

So I saw that the new trend is gradient nails, I went to look in my stash and decided to try it with the shades I already own. I chose teal/green. This is what I came up with. I got lots of compliments at work.

And these are the shades I wore. The last one on the right is a golden sheen that I am actually wearing (on my pointer finger) over the green one.

Rimmel-819 Green with envy, CG-Four Leaf Clover, CG-For Audrey, Revlon-85 Minted, CG-White Cap.

What do you think? is this a trend you will be wearing?

Eye Of The Day - Celebrating Spring

(Para leer en Espanol, ve al final de esta publicacion)
To celebrate the beginning of spring, I decided to go for a more colourful look; I went for an orange-y look this time. Although I've been loving the neutral office-safe smokey looks lately, I decided to do something with a bit of colour just for fun. I hope you enjoy your day to the max!!

  • MAC Manila Paper (inner corner and brow bone)
  • MAC Burnt Orange (lid)
  • MAC Fire Cracker (crease)
  • Annabelle Cosmetics Smudge Liner in Wired (lower lash line)
  • Stila Kajal Liner in Topaz (water line)
  • Too faced Shadow Insurance

  • Physicians formula black eye liner

Physicians Formula Eye Booster liquid liner

We all have trouble finding the perfect liquid liner that will be easy to apply with a great formula, right?
I have to search no more as I found the Physicians Formula Eye Booster liquid liner, I got it in a goody bag from one of those TBB events and fell in love with it!

It comes in a pen form with a felt tip that is not stiff but not too flimsy, so it adapts perfectly to the eyelid. It runs very smoothly, but the surface has to be oil free or the formula will smear or breakdown, so if you are not wearing eye shadows I strongly recommend using a primer to avoid oil buildup on your lids.

The Physicians Formula Eye Booster liquid liner is not waterproof so if you have a tendency to rub your eyes or have very watery eyes, it might rub off a bit, specially on the inner and outer corners.

It is the easiest liner to apply I have found yet, in fact, I got my mom one in brown, one in black and, since she liked it so much and found it very easy to use, she asked me to get another one in black for a friend of hers. The lid closes very tightly so it won't dry up fast, actually the very first one I got, lasted me a bit over a year without drying out.

Since the tip is very thin, I can always go for a thin line or build it up to a more bold thicker line. I truly love this liner and is my go-to liner.

Here are some looks where I am using the Physicians Formula Eye Booster liquid liner in Ultra Black.

Have you tried pen liners?? do you like them??

Marcelle Xtension Plus Mascara

The Marcelle Xtension Plus Mascara is a lengthening mascara that defines and separates the lashes. It is one of my favourite mascaras, it really does elongate my lashes and gives me a bit of volume, I did not have any problems with clumping or fall out.

The Marcelle Xtension Plus Mascara is not waterproof so at the beginning used to weight my lashes down but after a couple of weeks I guess I got used to the formula and my lashes were able to hold the curl. I would wear 2 coats of this mascara and get an every day fresh open eye look but what  I really loved, was the look it gave to my lower lashes.

I really liked the brush, the different size bristles allowed me to reach every single lash and made the application quite easy. I really think this mascara offers a good value for your money since it is priced at $12.50 on Marcelle's website.

After the Xtension Plus Mascara. I apologize for the mess on the lower lash line but I was on a rush when I took these pictures and forgot to clean up.

Which is your favourite lengthening mascara??
